Recent Events

We had a great time........ Thanks to Mike and Lisa Clark for hosting the party this year.........

Looks like everyone had a great time....... wish i could of made it.... Congrats to all who won .....

Also Congrats to the gang for receiving the "Club Participation Award" for the most members in attendance.....

For those that missed this you really missed out. This was their last show ............. We had several members attend to include Rosemary and Danny, Jose Neugart, Ray Veronda in his red 2008 New Beetle Convertible, Darryl and Sandy DeCelle, Paul and Kathryn Darling, and the Waskom Tuthill's....

We had a great Saturday cruise through the Bayou country and a cookout at the host hotel...... Sunday there was a great turnout and awesome weather.....

They had a pumpkin carving contest (Mr. Tuthill shows off his pumpkin ) and Halloween costume contest....

Every Arklatex member in attendance won in the top 30........ In other words..... "We got Wood".

Clyde's trailer took some parts of past projects down for the Swap meet.......

Sad to see the show go away.......... The Cajun Bug Club always put on a great weekend.... Thanks for the past......

Here are some pics from our last Drive and Shine in September. We cruised to Waskom Texas and spent the morning feeding all the cool animals and avoided .... feeding the gators....LOL...... Some of them had a funny look in their eyes ..... like there was a trap door we didn't know about..... LOL. It's a great place to take kids.....

After all that eating we got hungry and went to Catfish Village for lunch..... It was a nice day for a cruise and we all had a great time...

We had a great time. We had 6 members and wives make the trip. Ned and Bridgette, Nader, Mike Clark, Paul and Claudette Crow, Jose Neugart and Renee, Kathryn and myself....

Mike Clark, Kathryn and I camped out while there and the campground was pretty nice and quiet.....Best sleep I've had in a while...... Both our busses did fine on the mountain roads and I got great mileage towing my trailer. After we arrived we all attended the evening Bar BQ at the host hotel. It was a big turn out, but we wiped out the food and ice cream pretty fast......

It rained most of Saturday morning and let up around noon. Made for a muggy day....

We participated in the parade and killed folks with beads......

Jose won 1st in the Ghia Vert class and Ned & Bridgette took 3rd in custom Ghia Class.... Looks like the Ghias cleaned up...

Paul and Claudette Crow even had a reunion with their camper....

Great day for a cruise......We met up with the Monroe gang for a nice day out in the Arcadia, Louisiana country....The Bonnie and Clyde's "Trade Days" was in full swing when we arrived....
